What is Theta?
Statisticians spend a lot of time trying to figure out the following:
In econometrics, theta is often the slope of a curve.
Our statistical model of a curve allows for data that is not on a line.
By end of this semester, you will understand how we estimate slopes and test hypotheses about them.
